This is an intake that requires two separate individual sessions and one joint couples session.
Service Description
Couples intake includes three sessions: one individual session for you, one for your partner, and then a joint session. These sessions can be scheduled any available time within 30 days (preferably within the same week). This structure lets me understand each of your perspectives, review your histories, and create an informed treatment plan. It also allows for you to share without being interrupted and feeling like you need to censor what you want to share. Your first sessions will not be together; the joint session happens after both individual sessions are complete.
Cancellation Policy
A scheduled appointment is a mutual commitment. If you have an appointment scheduled our office requires payment for the time that has been reserved or you. If you must cancel or reschedule, for any reason, you agree to notify our office at least twenty-four hours (not just the day before but 24 hours) prior to the scheduled appointment. If you do not notify us at least twenty-four hours in advance, you agree to pay for your counselor’s time and you will lose your $20 deposit.
